Hi peeps i've had a prob playing DarkMind, for some reason my machine struggles and frame rate plummets. I'm sure the problem is my end as noone else has had this problem.
Renderers used:
D3D9 - OGL37.
Machine specs laptop win7, Graphics Intel HD3000, New intel BX 2.2 GHZ.
Its definitely not a horse power issue if i dont set a frame limit fps soars to silly fps and game is Amphetamines. When i first played on MSH and met Bad Robot fps was upto 500! until i capped it to 60 no-vsnyc. vsnyc messes my mouse lol. Have not needed the multicore exe.

Thanks 5L3V1N.  You're pretty good at this programming stuff eh? I will experiment with both and see how they compare with D3D9 that i use now.

Also, the frame rate thing.  This helped me:

Right click on the UT shortcut. Select Properties. Select Compatibility. Make sure "Run this program in compatibility mode for" is Not selected.  While you are there make sure to make a checkmark beside "Disable Visual Themes" and  "Disable Desktop Composition".  Hit "Apply" and save. Next go to your video card settings and turn off Vertical Sync. Last but not least, start UT.  Go to Tools and select "TIMEDEMO".  This will put the framerate in the top right of your screen when you play.  Mine runs at 110 fps.  Some good players I talked to said theirs runs at 140-150.  Anyway, I hope that helps!

It's on a particular map everything else is ok but i will disable Themes and desktop i've heard it can effect older games. I do the for starsiege universe can't think why i didn't do it for UT. Cheers  Smiley

Nah - not really 21, these settings are written with the selected renderer. I'm interested in this sort of stuff saves $ when getting progs to work instead of costly upgrades lol
Bear in mind though some servers have not got these rends in their anti-cheat white list so it's possible you will get kicked.
