I doubt anybody thought to do this or did it so I'm calling it now and I hope somebody (HELEN) can make this happen.

We know using tools like UT check that we can see who is on any server choose and we can see the player names, scores, pings and everything else too. While in a utility like that I'd like to be able to see all of that info AND be able to see the text from the chat box and speak to players for that server in real time.

How about them apples boy!!!

I want this because I see people I want to chat with all of the time but I hate having to log in to UT Web Admin to chat and I hate refreshing the screen to see if they responded or not. If ACE or something already has this then I'll install it maybe. I'm not a fan of ACE at this time. I think it will eventually provide the greatest path for hacking UT players when it is all said and done.

The only thing I know for sure about this is that it can be done!

This would be tough. One hard thing I can see is I'd have to figure out the format of the web request, I don't even know if that is possible, at least by me anyways.

One thing for sure I could tell you is that there is no way you as the client could just connect to any server of your choice. The game server would have to be running this new mutator, and they would have to make public the listen port for you to use.

Surely someone has done something like this already? If so I want to know because I want to see how they did it!

Probably not relevant, but can you use the chat built into UT ? Back in the day we used to log into UTs' chat and if i was in game, some one could send me a message that I could see while playing.

Yeah, I used to use that way back in the early years, the built-in chat in the UT game, but I thought it kinda pooped out. Huh
