Helen the new splash screens at the beginning of the matches are awesome! Cheesy Loving the Princess Leia & whatsername from Tron! The new styling on Mt St Helens is great as well, the black & white/blk|wht|darkgreen work perfect. You have plans to make them all the same? What made you decide to add the pics in?

Here's the chain of events:
a. I wanted to fix the speed issues of the post game splashes.
b. First one I tackled was matrix. Part of fix was to use a texture file.
c. When done, I was reminded (by Stiv), that 512x512 textures look ugly unless the player has a setting in place on their machine.
d. So I fixed that, but then I realized my splash intro was using 512x512 too.
e. So I revamped the splash intro code, and while I did it I made it quite dynamic to change the picture.

So now I can swap in new pics fairly easily. Well, it is about a couple hours work for about 5 pics. Still worth it to keep it fresh.

I started with the girls because I am single so nobody can tell me I should not look at other women Smiley
All you married gents, turn away when the splash comes up lol.

Hey, I agree with you on the pics! And they don't look too bad either  Wink in regards to the 512x512 res textures, what setting are you referencing? The logo is very nicely done tho, it looks properly in sync and the text is blended perfectly well worth it. Nice job! Smiley

To see 512x512 textures drawn properly, you need this section/setting in your UnrealTournament.ini if you use openGL:

[OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice]
UseS3TC=True

I do not know the setting for D3D  Sad

As long as the girl in the red bikini is there, it's all good!

Lol, i believe the red bikini model in question is a character model for one of Daz3D's product's, most likely Poser Studio or Carrera. Good to see im not the only one who likes em  Grin
