Alright so here are some screenshots of what I see when we play, I can post config file if anyone is interested and link to the mod as well, standard latest version of unreal tournament 99 goty, added into my unreal anthology disc , running in OpenGL @ 1600x900 & 1280x800 so check it out if your interested, the mod is called

other than that check out the attached screenshots , they were originally taken right from in game via F9 but simply converted over to png, I have 20/20 vision and cant see any difference just prefer png's.

Basically just an "All-Around-Optimizer" for UT99  mostly visual diff's such as the text you see above in my screenshots, honestly you'd probably be better off viewing the changelog, none of the tweaks are illegal for online play that I know of, certainly has never reg'd that way for me during online play, but overall it's pretty standard. my copy of UT99 come's from the Unreal Anthology DVD and V3 works flawlessly with that & any other. I made it to your server finally btw , kickass m8 !

as far as i know it is simply called Gold  the crosshair, try choosing a custom cursor color and raise your red bar and green all the way and lower the blue all the way, should work for you. However @ High resolution you may want a bigger crosshair size because it will almost disappear entirely. Works decent tho @ 1366x768 & 1024x768

Thank's Medor !  btw nice 2 meet you, but i thought none of those extreme or high end S3TC Texture's were available for UT99  i use the extreme end on my (Unreal Gold) but any link's ive tried for them for UT were dead or non-existent.
Glad to see i was wrong tho ! thanks a million i've been looking for these for over a year now!!! i cant wait to test Facing Worlds myself in some instagib  oh and thanks for keeping them alive & around as well, the one's for Unreal Gold are simply amazing
