Hi Guys,
Just wondering if it's possible to change the route to game servers. For instance, I have been trying to play on a ST.Louis server.  However even with fairly low ping it's extra slow for me. So I did a tracert and from where I live (near Toronto) the route went to New York then Chicago then ST Louis. 18 hops in total.  I called my internet provider and they said they couldn't do anything. Any ideas?  Thanks...

I'll start with the bottom line: no you can't do anything about it.

This is a major grievance for me too. In a perfect world:
- all internet lines would be shared, so at the border one company does not have limit joining to another company's network at specific locations.
- I would be hired to write better routing software for these guys Smiley

Okay, thanks!  I kind of figured I was wasting my time, but I had to ask.  I think I'm just spoiled on Helen's server.  It's like practice mode for me.  Then I hop to another server and it's like I'm in quicksand.  At least I can stop spending money now on my PC.  It's not the game or the computer.

Yeah, Both Helen's server and my servers are located in Chicago USA.
The Chicago location is a very good one that is well connected.
Even over seas players get a pretty darn good ping from this location I have noticed.
