There is now a little mini scoreboard you can view, see pic below on the right (click on pic to enlarge).

The point of this is so that you can have something always showing (if you want) to see where your score is in relation to the others. So out of the corner of your eye if the purple line is not on top, you are behind!

• You will be able to set a toggle key to show/hide it when you desire. It is hidden by default.
• There is an option to make this the "default" scoreboard. Normally when you press F1, or when you die, you see the normal scoreboard. Well you can set an option such that it will show the small scoreboard instead. (When the game is over, the normal scoreboard will show regardless, so you can still see the stats).
• There is an option to show it on the left if you prefer.
• There is an option to show it at the start of the game automatically.

First you need this.

Unzip it somewhere, then dump all those files into your UnrealTournament/System folder.

One of the files is called medHUD.ini, open it. Set to true any or all of the options you want. Save and close it.

Now start UT.

Open Options/Preferences, go to the Controls tab, and scroll down (see pic).



Choose the key you want to use.

You are done. Give it a go in-game.

Bugs/Suggestions. I'll be updating it on the weekend.

Bug When game over, F1 does not toggle the normal scoreboard.

Suggestion Provide an option to automatically have the small scoreboard showing at the start of a game.

The scoreboard has been updated, so as a result the package in the first post has been updated. If you have set it up previously, do this first:

Go to your UnrealTournament/System folder, and delete the medScoreBoard212.int and medScoreBoard212.u files (or whatever versions of those two files you find).


Then install the files from the new package into the system folder. If it prompts to overwrite, say yes.

You will have to restore your choices in the medHUD.ini

However your previous toggle keys should still be intact.

Updated again. But instructions have changed for those who have it installed already. Download the package and then follow these instructions if you already have it installed. All of these files I mention are in your UnrealTournament/System folder.

A. If you don't have a medHUD.ini file, grab the one from the package. If you do have a medHUD.ini file, open it and change the current version to 218. For example if you see medScoreBoard217, change it to medScoreBoard218.

B. Change the name of your existing medScoreBoardXXX.int file to medScoreBoard218.int

C. Open your medScoreBoard218.int and update the version in all spots to 218 (there are 3 places to change).

D. Delete the previous version of your medScoreBoardXXX.u file.

E. From the package, put in the medScoreBoard218.u file.

That's it. The other files in the package are for someone who has not installed before.

There is one new option in medHUD to set called bShowSmallScoresOnBottom. If it is true, it will be shown in either bottom left or right corner (depends on if bShowSmallScoresOnLeft is true or false).
