Well, I just had to do it. Ray talked recently about this mutator and I figured, hey, I have to at least try it on the Empowered][ map. Well, see for yourself. Did you know about this one?

Tell me what method you are using to compress the png files. I clearly see your file sizes are smaller, and I want to read about if that loses quality for a png.

Well, there is this website called ilovepdf.com that I use a lot in the office to convert images to pdf (I use the scanner a lot). Last night I discovered there is also iloveimg.com, and you can use it for image compression. I don't know about quality loss, tonight when I get home I will compare with the original.
EDIT: I compared the images side by side, original and compressed. At first glance they look identical. Interesting.

Oh wow, Helen, you are right. There is a lot of pixelation and spots once you do that.  Sad At the explosions, at the hud, the small details of the towers. You should know, you have done a lot of mapping. Hmmm...I have a lot to learn.

Whew, I'm glad you said it got blurry, because that makes sense. But though I'm a little bit sad the quality is down, I'm more happy the disk space is saved.

Yeah well, you know what? I have just noticed that all the shots are with the rocket launcher only. So just two more from that match with other weapons, this time I resize, no compression.
