	Ever see a spectator show as a pawn in game ? This was on the OneNightStand server. It has happened to me several times in the past. Great to see peoples reaction to a chess pawn runing around the map !

	That is awesome. So you don't see a player or a skin or anything of the person spectating but you do see this pawn instead? Does it fly like a player in ghost mode too?

	No it stays on the ground ,you can run up and down stairs, I can't recall if you can use lifts or not. I remeber certain maps that I was specing if you got close to the top while flying around for some reason you would show up as that pawn running around. I hope I saved the demo of this, gonna check tommorow !

	I think I know how they do this. That is the standard graphic symbol for pawns used in UnrealEd. They are set as "invisible" not showing in-game, in other words. It seems they somehow set them as "visible" in the properties. This can be done with bot pathing as well. Set the pathnode's properties so they are seen in-game and you should see those little apples all over bot-pathed maps. There are a number of items that do not show in-game, but they are there never the less.

	So, entered a server on a map I know that this will work: http://youtu.be/4GYmmzwUQFk What isn't shown is me picking up health and ammo. Many moons ago on this very map I picked up shield belt and turned into a big flat gold square! lol The belt texture must of covered the whole pawn sprite.

There are a couple other maps that it can happen on, DM-Nitro just happens to be one I still remember. Oh and the map in the first picture, forget the name.

	Yeah, I thought only Monsters react to Spectators. At least I know they do when you are waiting to play a game, before it starts the map and you can Fly around. Try it in a map with monsters - they chase you and shoot at you also. But bots? Maybe bots do also, but we just cannot see them before the map starts?

	I've seen that a few times. Not just as a spectator though. There's a few monster classes I used to try to summon into a game that didn't work so very well, they showed up as a chess pawn instead of a monster. Nothing quite like being ripped to shreds by a chess pawn.

	Ahhhhahahaha. I loved that video of it getting shot at. Yep. Looks like it is in fly mode for sure. Ghost mode possible? Didn't look like it.
