A very strange file to get a mismatch on. I would think if your render.dll is different, you would not be able to even connect. Aren't you using that 469 version? I have no idea about this one.

Ok, as someone who has the 469a version, and also hi res textures, I have no problems with DarkMind, or any of the maps currently on rotation (I think I have all of them on cache), unless you added new ones in the last two or three days. Except, as you already know Helen, Coke][, but I already saw you went back to the smaller version, and I played it online last night, and no crash. So with me, personally, everything is fine.

Aaaah. That might be it. Above I said render.dll because when I look in my system folder, that is the only "Render" file I have. So I guess there is a Render.u as well. I wonder what package that is from, and if it is absolutely necessary to have? I can see that leading to some sort of conflict between render.u and render.utx

Ok, the solution according to them: delete the render.u, both client and server side. Now just to be safe, please backup that file, put it in another folder, in case you have to put it back in. After the 469b deleted my inis with no recycle bin to recover  Sad, now I have many copies of them with different dates on a separate folder.  Grin

Ohhhh, they also mentioned the conflict with the engine.u and engine.uax. I did get that one a few times ( though not on your server, I think, I really don't remember now)

Delete render.u from the server??? I'm scared to, and it sounds iffy. Will stick with doing nothing for now.

Just got this same error on Dark Mind II.  Never had an issue before with this map.
